She has been involved in several television films. Rothery began dancing when she was nine years old, and was able to consider 1995 the year that she started her career as an entertainer. The first of her professional appearances as a performer were in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and in Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. As a child she was a dancer on The Irish Rovers variety television show [2] and was a part in the musical "The Sound Of Music" at the age of 14.
