Jill Hennessy
Her diverse heritage comprises Irish Italians, Swedish, Italians french, Ukrainians, and Italians. Jacqueline is the twin sister of her and an actor. Jill became fluent in a variety of languages, such as Italian, French, Spanish while growing older. After she turned twelve years young, she began to become interested in being an actor. In Toronto, she began her professional career as an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort alongside her twin sister. Then she studied improv comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. The actress made the move in New York two years later and signed a contract as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit show that has been running for a long time Law & Order. In the three years she lived in New York and worked on several feature films including RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). In the years that followed, she landed roles in several forgettable films. Then, in 1999 she secured a leading role in the mini-series uremberg along with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed with Exit Wounds. She was the main character for her role on the NBC police show Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female character in a drama" in recognition of her work on the series. In 2000, she got married to fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro. They have two kids. In 2007 she was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame.
