Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. Her screen debut came through her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. French, German English fluently. Her mother was a violinist The father of her is a theater professor in one of Romania's top theater schools. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. The European Film Promotion Board named her as a European Shooting Star in 2008. She taught four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. A performer with Romanian origin, Anamaria Marinca made her debut in the film industry through the Canadian-British TV drama Sex Traffic for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. Her performance in Romanian art-film 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days is remembered as well. It was a huge success and won numerous awards such as being awarded the European Film Award Best Actress for London Film Critics. In 2007, her role in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 zile (4 months 3 weeks and 2 days), won both three weeks and a day. Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two additional awards: the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim in BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the following year, she was a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
