LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 is a professional American basketball player. He is known as King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has the most playoff points, the second highest career point total, and the seventh highest assists total in his career. Additionally, as an NBA All-Star, James was picked to the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The third most amount in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011 and 2018. In 2021, James was selected to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete in NBA history to rack up at least 10,000 career points in rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised James as a future NBA star. In 2003, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. He was voted the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Soon he became one of the top players of the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award twice in 2009 and 2010. James did not win the award with Cleveland, and departed the city in 2010 as a "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
